MEDICATION CONTROL
Currently there are various different medications used for pain control. At Dr. Shan Nagendra's Penn Medical Services, a logical combination of medication is applied to each patient based on their physical and psychological needs. Patients are kept stabilized in an optimal pain relief level with the appropriate medication, in addition to the interventional pain relief management.
Caution, medicine is a double edged sword. Some patients on certain medication become dependent and show undesirable effects of this medication including addiction, side effects and lot more.
At Penn Medical Services, Dr. Shan Nagendra uses his experience to administer medications for pain control and limit the unnecessary side effects of the medicines used. He uses the rehabilitative medications (Subaxone) to rehabilitate the patients who are unduly dependent on narcotic medications.
