SCIATICA
Sciatica is a generally used for disc, facet or sacroiliac joint problem. In this condition, pain is felt in the lower back and various parts of the leg and foot. These symptoms may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of nerve root giving rise to sciatic nerve or by compression of the nerve itself.
It addition to pain, sciatica gives rise to numbness, muscular weaknesses, tingling and difficulty in moving the leg. In most cases these symptoms are only felt on one side of the body.
